Simplify Technology was started in response to a growing need for a reliable & reasonable tech support company in Maury County, Williamson County, and it’s surrounding areas. When a business is experiencing a growth spurt, a real need for someone with systems and technical growth expertise becomes imperative to the continued growth, productivity, and security of the company. Troubleshooting, seemingly overnight, takes over the life of the company. And that’s where Simplify Technology comes in. Solving problems is our favorite thing to do for local businesses.
With Adam’s background in finance & data-centers, and Justis’ business growth expertise, meeting the technology needs of businesses in an underserved area was a natural fit and quickly grew into a shared passion. They learned that their combined experience (10 years for Adam & 23 years for Justis!) and unique set of skills translated into a superior product and service that they could deliver and that wasn’t currently available in the Columbia, Spring Hill, Franklin, Williamson County and Maury County areas.
Principal, CEOAdam has had a passion for technology from a very young age. His technology career began with First Farmers and Merchants Bank in Columbia, TN while attending Columbia State for a degree in Computer Information Systems. He worked as a systems administrator providing 2nd tier support and managing server/network infrastructure for the bank. After 3 years with F&M, he moved into the healthcare IT industry as a Systems/Network Engineering Consultant for Onlife Health – A BCBST Company. Critical projects he oversaw included the migration of their existing 2,000 sq ft datacenter to the new building location, and their disaster recovery implementation between the new Brentwood datacenter and BCBST’s datacenter in Chattanooga.
After 2 years consulting with Onlife/BCBST, Adam joined Peak10 as the lead systems/network engineer for the Nashville market – providing engineering consulting and support for over 400 businesses in nearly every industry in the greater Nashville area. As a recognition of his excellent service and technical understanding, he was promoted to Senior Solutions Engineer at Peak10, helping to completely overhaul the company-wide sales process and strategy while meeting with business owners in Nashville to develop and deploy cloud/colocation technology solutions. With over 10 years of enterprise IT experience, he decided to launch Simplify Technology and bring robust, professional technology solutions to the SMB market.
Chief Strategy OfficerJustis started in Technology in the early 90’s, working for a small tech support company. Eventually opening his own support company in 1999. He later sold that, worked as an IT executive for a business services company, only to launch and sell a couple more IT companies post corporate life. During these years, He discovered a passion for growing business, identifying goals and working efficiently to reach those goals. He’s spent the last few years as a CIO for a financial services company assisting in growing the bottom line by sharpening their tech tools. He’s also learned the value of working with your passion, for him that meant branching outside of his comfort zone and being a partner in Nashville’s premier European Automotive Tuning & Repair facility. There is much reward in designing a strategy for success, finding the talent and building a team that understands the vision and creates the right culture. Vision, Strategy and Technology makes this possible, by allowing your team to do what they do best. He is excited to meet, understand and consult with Simplify’s clients. He hopes to help you reach your business goals.
Chief Operating OfficerTroy’s career in technology started in the 90’s. While working as a traveling Union Pipefitter, Troy was exposed to technology that sparked an interest in the IT field. Demanding travel prompted Troy to accept a job with a local assembly plant that ultimately closed US operations. This afforded Troy the opportunity to pursue his technology interests at Columbia State. Upon graduation with an Information Systems degree, Troy was offered a position at First Farmers and Merchants Bank where his knowledge increased as the tech department grew in size and complexity. Troy was responsible for many aspects of FF&M’s technology including end user support and infrastructure/network administration. Troy has a wide skill set that is well suited for Simplify’s client base. He’s excited to assist in the growth of Simplify and we are excited to have him on our team.
